Our Research

Laboratory research in the Department of Urology includes studies on prostatitis, noninvasive methods of kidney and prostate surgery, genetic mechanisms in prostate cancer, the safety and efficacy of a vaccine for recurrent urinary tract infections in women, and the effect of the sensory nerve system on bladder function.

Dr. Bushman's Lab - molecular signaling in the mesenchymal-epithelial interactions of prostate development and reactivation of embryonic signaling pathways in prostatic neoplasia.
