Students design improved resectoscope and take 2nd place

A group of UW-Madison biomedical engineering students working with Department of Urology Associate Professor, Tracy Downs, MD, FACS, won second-place prize in the Wisconsin School of Business 2015 G. Steven Burrill Business Plan Competition. The group designed an improved resectoscope with negative pressure suction to stop tumor seeding during the removal of bladder tumors.
