Lescrenier lecture to focus on contemporary infertility

The UW Department of Urology welcomes Peter N. Schlegel, MD, FACS, to give the 2015 Charles and Margaret Lescrenier Lectureship on Tuesday, March 24, at the the Medical Foundation Centennial Building, 1685 Highland Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Schlegel will lecture on “Contemporary Infertility: Varicocele & Management of Testicular Failure.”

Dr. Schlegel is an internationally acclaimed expert in the treatment of male infertility, especially the interface of male factor treatment with assisted reproductive techniques. He currently serves as the James J. Colt Professor and Chairman of Urology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, staff scientist at The Population Council Center for Biomedical Research, visiting associate physician at The Rockefeller University Hospital, and Urologist-in-Chief at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Charles and Margaret Lescrenier established this annual lecture series through a grateful patient endowment in 2010. Each year, the Department of Urology invites a national leader in urologic disease to speak to urology health care professionals, students and patients in the community.
