Dr. McAchran Featured in Madison Newspaper

The Wisconsin State Journal referenced Sarah McAchran M.D. in an article on alternate uses of the drug Botox.

The article noted that Botox injected into the wall of the bladder can help people with neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis or Spina Bifida, and can prevent the need for surgery in patients with overactive bladders when anti-leakage medications fail.

Dr. McAchran joined us last year after completing a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. She completed her residency at Case Medical Center/University Hospitals of Cleveland after attending medical school at Vanderbilt University. She specializes in all aspects of female pelvic floor disorders, as well as female sexual dysfunction.
